This guide will explain how to root Samsung Galaxy Tab. Rooting the Samsung Galaxy Tab is going to be a fairly easy process, but be sure to follow all instructions so you make no errors! We want your root process to be painless, so we make these guides very simple and understandable. Now, on to the rooting, shall we?

First thing you want to do is open your Market and download an app called z4root. Once you download that, you’ll want to enable USB Debugging Mode on your Samsung Galaxy Tab. You do this by going to Menu > Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging and place a check mark in the box. Approve the warning message that may pop up, we’re not going to hurt your device by doing this process.

Next, open the z4root application then press the button labeled “Root”. Your Samsung Galaxy Tab may restart during this process, it’s safe and normal. Once the root process finishes, you’ll see a blue screen with a message at the bottom saying your phone is already rooted, and it will also have 2 buttons that say “Re-root” and “Un-root”. If you ever need warranty service, the “Un-root” button is your dearest friend!

Enjoy having a rooted Samsung Galaxy Tab!
