My Days is an Android App that helps women keep track of their periods on their Android phones. This application was designed to give you the estimated dates of a lot of different feminine body activities, listed below:

Beginning of period

Ended period

When your next period is

When you’ve had sex

When your fertility is high

When you’re ovulating

When you took your birth control pill

Custom Notes

BMT

Much more, below!

Calendar Features

Now, I’ll outline all of the features of the free version of MyDays for you, so you’ll be able to learn all of the power and awesome features this application is packed with. The first feature is being able to track your periods. this app will let you mark the day you start your period as well as when you end it, and on the calendar, it shows the duration of your period with a red bar. This is excellent for you because you’ll be able to use the app to predict your cycle based on the past periods you’ve had (and plan accordingly!).

The next feature I will describe is the ability to mark each and every day that you had sex. This is important to keep track of if you’re trying to get pregnant, or if some other negative occurrence happens that you may have not wanted to happen. Some people like to use this option just to see how frequently or how seldom they have sex with their partners, etc.

The application uses your data that you enter to tell you approximately when your body will be at its highest fertility. You may find this information useful if you’re trying to get pregnant, and don’t know when you should try harder. You may also find this information useful if you’re avoiding getting pregnant and are not on birth control or using another contraception method.

An important feature of this application for anyone trying to get pregnant, particularly, is the ovulation feature. This application till highlight, in yellow, the estimated date that you will ovulate. For a quick explanation of ovulation, this is the process in which the body has the highest likelihood of getting pregnant, because a fresh egg drops into the Fallopian tube from the ovarian follicle.

The next feature I would like to describe about the application is the option to make a note on the calendar. If something important happens and you need to make note of it, just add one! Simple as that. This can be useful for a multitude of things, so don’t thinkt he possibilities are limited.

Finally, the last feature of the calendar part of this application is BMT. One frequently asked question about this application is what BMT is. BMT stands for Basal Metabolic Temperature, also known as Basal Body Temperature. Basically, for users who keep track of this, or would like more information about this: you’ll be able to find out when your body is ovulating, because your BMT/BBT will increase by almost 0.5 degrees! What you need to do is begin keeping track of your body temperature by taking your temperature as soon as you wake up in the morning. The average woman’s temperature in the morning is 96.0 to 97.5 degrees Fahrenheit. During ovulation, you will notice an increase of your BMT/BBT in the morning, by approximately 0.4 degrees Fahrenheit. This is a proven method of finding out when you’re ovulating and extremely helpful for women who would like to get pregnant.

Additional Features

To access these additional features, you will need to open the application, press Menu, then Preferences. All of the options inside the Preferences menu will be displayed below.

Multiple Users – You’re able to add multiple users to the MyDays application, so if you and your friends want to keep track together, you’re able to do that! Just switch between users easily!

Language – This application is available in the following languages:

English

Deutsch

Italiano

Español

French

Chinese (zhcn)

Chinese (zhtw)

Multicolor Days – Enabling this option will allow your calendar to have multiple colors, marking multiple events for that day. This is an excellent option to use to get the most out of this application.

Cycle Length – This option will allow you to customize the length of your menstrual cycle, not period length (see below). You can customize this for each user. Switch between users to customize this option.

Period Length – Enter the average length of your period here. This is customizable for each user. Select the user you want to change the setting for before you make the changes!

BMT – Set this option to display the temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. This is customizable for each user, jsut select the user you want to customize first!

You’re also able to save your data and back up your data for each user, right to your SD Card! This is excellent if you ever need to change devices or if you customize your phone a lot and don’t want to lose this information!

Change Colors – You can change the colors of each event that you can add to your calendar. For example, if you want your ovulation date to be pink instead of yellow, you can change that here.

Start Week With – You can select the day that you want to start your week with. This is good for international users, whose weeks may actually start on Monday.

Month Slider Touchscreen – this option will allow you to slide the calendar by sliding the touchscreen, instead of only being able to use the arrow keys.

Color Legend Visible – This option will show or hide the legend of colors for each event.

Long Press on Date – Having this option set to “on” will make you have to long-press on the calendar date to add a new event.

Widget Options

You can select from 2 different widgets to add to your Android homescreen! The first widget, the MyDays Large, will show you via either text or a clock, when your next period and next ovulation is. This info may show up as a “?” symbol until you enter period data. This widget is a 1×2 widget.

The MyDays Mini widget shows you the number, in days, until your next period or ovulation. This is excellent if you don’t want “Next Period” or “Next Ovulation” showing on your homescreen, if there’s nosy people around! this widget is a 1×1 widget.

PRO Version Details

If you had an interest in purchasing the PRO version of this application, you’ll be able to unlock some extremely useful features! If you’re any normal person, you probably have your phone with you quite a bit. What’s better than having an alarm, on your phone, that rings every day at the same time to remind you to take your birth control pill, or at least log your day’s events every day? This is one of the really cool features of the pro version, and in my personal opinion, it’s well worth the cost of PRO.

The other awesome feature of the pro version is that you’re able to set a password for your user, if you don’t want any nosy people getting into your most intimate information! Just set your password, verify it, and you’re good to go!

How to Get This Application

You can get this application by searching for “MyDays” in the Android Market. You can also find it on App Brain, if you use it, on your PC, then send it to your phone.

Enjoy this application! We’ve had a lot of fun reviewing all of the options of this application, and we are happy to be able to present something to the female Android users who like to have control and knowledge over their bodies!
